While the course work seems solid and intuitive for the most part.. I did cancel my subscription at least a month ago because the price hike coming up was too much. My plan ended today and come to find out they charged me $300 anyway. I know I canceled it. This is ridiculous. Edit: contacted the devs and got refunded hassle free so I do appreciate that. Updated my rating. I did use mimo almost exclusively on PC which was mildly buggy here and there. My progress didn't carry over to the app tho.

Lesson based format on a fixed path so you can't jump around based on your experience and interests. It might not teach application of Python (I'm new) but I think it will help with getting familiar with the syntax so it can be applied to problems. Progression is slow for me but I think that is because I have some programming experience vs. the intended audience might be starting from 0. While it might be slower than an online course, it is an approachable way to add Python learning to your day.

I think it's a good choice to keep practicing your programming skills but I don't like the hearts system because you have to wait many hours to return to the lesson and you lose all your learning progress .

Mimo was my favorite coding application;but now I can't use it anymore. It just keeps telling me that I have to check my network although there is nothing wrong with it... I've checked it many times and switched between my mobile data to Wifi and back; but unfortunately there's no difference.

This style of teaching helps lock new info into the brain by doubling back to test your memory, which I love! As someone with ADHD, gamefied learning works super well for me, so Mimo's structure feels made for me!

Too linear. Answers are premeditated or too obvious. Learning curve extremely slow. Real boring. Better to take a book or watch a tutorial on internet and learn the coding language.
