Great way to keep someone informed of your progress. Very useful in my business of tuning pianos. Customers will usually let me know if I missed a turn LOL I'm back to lower my rating because Glympse added a "Waiting for connection" to SmartDevice notification with no way to turn it off. VERY annoying! No, touching and holding doesn't work. Bad app, no biscuit.

Updated: They cant leave a good thing alone. No longer sends SMS to receiver, have to send text manually. Settings set for silent yet the thing chimes. App disappears after sending invite... No clear way to correct this in settings. Used to be easy to use, now these important settings are either hidden, locked down or missing Old review: Handy. Easy to use.

Times of arrival are innacurate. If you do your travel using google maps (navigator) and if you use glimpse in background running properly configured, the times that glimpse is sending are completely wrong. Everything is still the same and no improvement at all on OnePlus 7 and 11. Doesn't recognize Waze or others. Needs massive improvement!!!

Was really useful. Had an update recently and keep getting SDL notifications when I'm not using it. System messages keeps telling me it's using battery in the background. This is in spite of only enabling location when the app is in use. This is now an irritating and not very usable app and will have to be deleted if these issues can't be fixed.

07/01/2019: Recently went on a 3k+ mile road trip & used Glympse to keep the home folks informed of my whereabouts & progress. This is a great app for this purpose! I did forget that each recipient needs a to be sent a separate invitation in order to be able to follow me. Great app!

2019 update! I still love this app, but I'm disappointed that no upgrades have been done. For instance... How about the option to click on a location someone has shared with you, to be given the option to navigate to it? ****************************** My family uses this app almost daily to check in, stay in contact while traveling, or keeping up with roaming teenagers. Such an applicable use of GPS to streamline lives.
